Washington, D.C. – The National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) is pleased to announce three finalists for the 2024 Innovation, Dedication, Excellence and Achievement in Service (IDEAS) Award.
The following finalists were selected by the NASS Executive Board and Committee Co-Chairs:

Finalists will be invited to showcase their state’s innovative program during the upcoming NASS 2024 Summer Conference, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Members will then vote, and the selected state will be presented with the award during the conference.
“NASS at its core is about sharing practices and learning from each other,” said Scott Schwab, NASS President and Kansas Secretary of State. “Our finalists have launched some really outstanding programs and resources for their states, and they should be proud of their accomplishments. I’m looking forward to learning more from their presentations this summer.”
NASS would also like to thank the following states for submitting their programs for consideration:
- Office of the Arizona Secretary of State – Arizona Genealogy Day
- Office of the Ohio Secretary of State – Verify Ohio
