Family Events

The East Side walking tour is a 90 minute historical guided tour, beginning at the John Brown House Museum.

Federal Hill is the "Heartbeat of Providence". From shopping to dining to entertainment, Federal Hill has it all!

Metacomet Country Club boasts a Donald J. Ross signature 18 hole course on 105 acres of rolling hills in East Providence and continues to challenge the most accomplished golfers.

The Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of Design, also known as RISD Museum, is Rhode Island's leading museum of fine and decorative art, housing a collection of 84,000 objects of international significance.

Newport, Rhode Island has something for everyone to enjoy. You can tour the opulent Newport Mansions, relax at the beach or stroll through the streets of Newport shopping.

Providence Place Mall is accessible via skyway from the Westin Providence. The mall offers shopping, dining and entainment for all ages.

Roger Williams Park Zoo is our nation's third oldest zoo (opened in 1872), and is home to approximately 130 species of rare and fascinating animals. Roger Williams Park offers a carousel village, a playground, horse rides, paddle boats, and a planetarium.

Evening Events

Fort Adams is the largest coastal fortification in the United States. Come visit this engineering and architectural masterpiece to see where the soldiers lived, enter the casemates and explore the tunnel system.

The Rhode Island State House is constructed from white Georgia marble and sits atop Smith Hill in downtown Providence. Construction took 9 years to complete, beginning in 1895 and finishing in 1904.

Waterplace Restaurant has the best view of Waterplace Park, Waterfire and the Providence skyline while offering an array of tasty menu items.

Exhibitors

Exhibitor registration will be available in April 2010

Exhibit tables will be located on the ground floor in the Narragansett Pre-Function area of the Westin Providence, a space that will provide continous conference traffic. NASS will provide an approximately 8' x 10' space with a skirted 6' table and two chairs. Booth space will be assigned after June 16, 2010. The cost to exhibit is $500 for NASS Corporate Affiliates and $800 for Corporate Non-Members (registration fees do not include electricity).
